Mark Haslett has been named VP of development for “Friday the 13th” director-producer Sean S. Cunning-ham’s Cunningham Prods.
At Cunningham, Haslett is helping to develop New Line’s “Freddy vs. Jason” feature, which pits the “Friday the 13th” monster against Freddy Krueger of “A Nightmare on Elm Street” fame.
Cunningham, who produced Wes Craven’s “Last House on the Left” and directed “Spring Break,” also is develop-ing several properties outside of his trademark teen sex and slasher genres.
