Ramona Gerhard Sutton

Ramona Gerhard Sutton, a concert pianist and organist, died Feb. 5 of natural causes in Laguna Niguel, Calif. She was 91.

A native of Waterstown, S.D., Sutton began to play professionally in her early teens.

From the 1930s through the early ’50s, she was a full-time staff musician for CBS-owned WCCO radio. In the 1950s and ’60s, she was the staff organist for CBS-owned KNX radio in Hollywood.

She is survived by her son.
