Niki Minter Mancebo, 55, a producer of TV commercials in the United States and Europe, died of cancer on June 13 in Gearhart, Ore.
Mancebo studied theater arts at UCLA, from which she graduated in 1964. She continued her education at the Sorbonne in Paris and Northwestern U. in Illinois.
Her theatrical career began at Caltech in Pasadena, where she ran the school’s theater.
Following her stint at Caltech., Mancebo worked as a casting director, producer and director of TV commercials for several production companies including John Uri and Associates, Cascade Films, and Wakeford and Warloff.
In 1977, Mancebo became a member of the Directors Guild of America and was also listed in the Who’s Who of American Women.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth, and her mother.
