Elaine May has left Creative Artists Agency and signed with the William Morris Agency. May had previously been a client of former CAA agent Jay Moloney. The screenwriter adapted “Primary Colors” for Universal, which is just wrapping production with director (and longtime May collaborator) Mike Nichols. She also wrote United Artists’ $180 million worldwide grosser “The Birdcage,” which Nichols also directed. May will now be repped by Fred Westheimer in Los Angeles and Gene Parseghian in New York. She will continue to be repped by her business manager, Ken Starr, and attorney Bertram Fields.
