Marika Sentivanyi-Horunzhy

Marika Sentivanyi-Horunzhy, a former fashion model, singer and wife of film composer Vladimir Horunzhy, died Oct. 30 in L.A. following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was 47.

Sentivanyi-Horunzhy began her career in Kiev, where she was a popular nightclub singer. She later appeared in fashion shows in Moscow, Budapest, N.Y. and L.A.

During her fashion career, she modeled for the houses of Ungaro, Oscar de le Renta, Christian Dior, Anne Klein and Bill Blass.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Sundayat Mount Sinai Memorial Park, 5950 Forest Lawn Drive, Burbank.
