Dorothea Harding Kobin

Dorothea Harding Kobin, wife of William Kobin, retired president and CEO of KCET Los Angeles, died of breast cancer on July 7. She was 66.

Kobin was executive director for the American Society of Journalists and Authors in New York during the mid-’70s and served as Program Planner at the UCLA Extension School from 1980-90.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, two brothers and two grandchildren.

Family suggests donations in her name be sent to the Hospital Home Health Care Agency of California, Hospice Division.

Memorial services will be held today at the Mountain Gate Country Club in Brentwood.
