Warner Bros. has reorganized its East Coast advertising and publicity group, resulting in several promotions and new hires throughout the New York City-based office.
Willa Clinton, former manager of East Coast publicity, has been promoted to director. Her duties have been broadened to include supervision of long-range publicity strategies, and the oversight of East Coast TV and print media. Prior to joining the office in 1988, Clinton held positions at Columbia Pictures, Act III Communications and TriStar Pictures.
Inessa Sikiric has been upped to manager of East Coast advertising; she was previously executive secretary to Donald Buckley, who’s senior vice president of theatrical marketing and new media. Sikiric joined the office in 1987 as a receptionist .
Added to the office staff are Scott Boute, who will serve as senior publicist for broadcast, and Ruth Metzger, as publicist for magazines.
Boute comes to WB from ABC, where he served as a media relations supervisor. Previously, he was with Fox Broadcasting, where he had worked since 1989; he joined as a photo assistant, and worked his way up to the post of senior publicist.
Metzger joined Warners after a stint at the Abramson Entertainment Group field agency, where she handled local publicity for motion pictures from several film companies, including MGM/UA, Fox, Trimark and Strand Releasing. Prior to that post, she worked as East Coast field operations assistant at MGM/UA.
