Trident Entertainment Inc. has hired Tony Rego as VP of production and Jeff Richardson as director of production.
In his new post, Rego will oversee all film, video and TV production efforts on behalf of Trident and its affiliate, All Pro Sports Video Prods. Richardson, who has headed the graphics department at Trident since 1985, now will direct and oversee production on several series.
It also was announced that Trident founding partners Rego, Dave Salzberg and Brian Stewart have added two other partners: Jason Hervey, who starred as Wayne Arnold on “The Wonder Years,” and Bruce Singman.
Lastly, Trident has inked a deal with the Don Johnson Co. along with New Millennium to produce the new sci-fi hour “Stan Lee’s The Unhumans” for network primetime. A pilot is being put together, with Johnson serving as executive producer.
