Elisa Beth Garver has been named VP of development at Greenwater Pictures, a film, TV, commercial and musicvideo production company founded in 1996.
Greenwater produced the musicvideo of “Look Into My Eyes” from rappers Bone Thugs N’ Harmony, which appears on the “Batman & Robin” soundtrack album.
Garver’s appointment is Greenwater’s latest step in an expansion of production capabilities that has included the signing of several directors, including David Nutter (“The X-Files,” “Millennium”) and Rachel Talalay (“Tank Girl,” “Freddy’s Dead”).
“The appointment of Elisa will allow us to move ahead full-speed on the film and TV projects we have in development, and will help streamline the commercials and musicvideo side of the company,” said Tom Lowe, founder and CEO of Greenwater.
Garver’s industry experience runs from casting in television (“Walker, Texas Ranger,” “Babylon 5”) and feature films (“Murder in the First,” “Streetfighter”) to producing, directing and writing. She produced the CBS pic “Anne of the Thousand Days,” and wrote, directed and produced the 1996 short film “I’m Everything I Am,” working with Film Alliance.
Garver also has extensive experience directing for the stage, including her own adaptation of the Anais Nin novel “Henry and June” for a 1995 Actors Circle Theater production.
