Fox taps La Rue creative director

Stephen La Rue has been upped to director of creative affairs at 20th Century Fox TV, reporting to Dana Walden, senior VP of drama.

La Rue will serve as programming executive on “The X-Files,” “Millennium” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” and he’ll help develop new projects.

He was previously manager of creative affairs, overseeing development of the comedy series “Temporarily Yours,” “Space: Above and Beyond” and the pilot “Notorious 7.”
