Brillstein-Grey Entertainment has promoted a slew of executives and made some other changes to its TV division.
The production company has extended its deal with executive vice president Kevin Reilly for more than three years. Reilly joined Brillstein-Grey Communications (the TV division of BGE) in 1994, and he now manages the day-to-day operations of the TV company, which has two new and six total network primetime shows on the fall schedule.
Meanwhile, senior VP Fernanda Carapinha is exiting the exec ranks and signing an overall production deal with the company. Carapinha has been working in development and current programming for BGC for two years.
BGE chairman Brad Grey and president Lloyd Braun also promoted four BGC execs. Peter Traugott has been upped to senior veep from VP. He joined the company last season, and he now will supervise all current programming and play a more active role in development.
Tony Carey has been upped to veepee of production from director, and he’ll head the physical production department. Becky Jackson and Marianne Cracchiolo have also been upped to managers of BGC from associate executive posts, and they’ll both handle current programming.
Michael Rosenfeld, senior VP of BGE, will remain in that post, but will focus more on the TV division. Susie Fitzgerald, also senior veep of BGE, will continue to work on some current TV programming and development, as well as motion pictures and special projects.
