Seems like old times

Ten years after celebrating its premiere, the stars of Live Entertainment’s “Dirty Dancing” dusted off their dancing shoes to fete its re-release last Wednesday at Cineplex Odeon’s Universal City Cinemas.

A gala benefit for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation followed at the Hollywood Sports Grill in remembrance of the pic’s director, Emile Ardolino, who died of AIDS in 1993. The fete was sponsored by Live, Western Pacific Airlines, Planet Hollywood and Arthur Murray Dance Studios.

Pic’s stars Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze fell into step again with choreographer Kenny Ortega, Keanu Reeves, Marlee Matlin, Andrew McCarthy, John O’Hurley, Renee Russo, Leah Thompson, Mario Van Peebles and Live exec David Bowers.
