The Writers Guild of America West has nominated candidates for its officers and board of directors, officials announced Tuesday.
WGAW’s president, vice president and secretary-treasurer — as well as eight of the guild’s 16 board members — will be selected by election on Sept. 18. Terms for the guild’s current officers and half the board will expire in September.
Incumbent board member Lynn Roth and incumbent VP Daniel Petrie Jr. have been nominated for the WGAW prexy post.
John Wells, incumbent secretary-treasurer, and Vickie Patik have received noms for VP. Michael Mahern and John Riley, both incumbent board members, have been nominated for secretary-treasurer.
Running for WGAW’s board are incumbent board members Jessica Klein, Don Mankiewicz, Greg Strangis and Terry Curtis Fox; as well as Lee David Zlotoff, Dale Launer, Karyn Taylor, Scott Alexander, Laurence Andries, Charles Edward Pogue, Irma Kalish, Richard Baer, Stephanie Liss, Bob Tzudiker, Lonon Smith, Josh Friedman, Ann Marcus and Julie Friedgen.
