Matthew Gross will join Kopelson Entertainment as a vice president of production when the company sets up shop at Fox Jan. 1. Gross will report to Kopelson’s president of production, Stephen Brown, as well as to Arnold and Anne Kopelson.
“Anne and I are extremely pleased to add Matt to our executive ranks,” Arnold Kopelson said. “As we move further into our relationship with Fox, which begins next year, Matt’s extensive production experience will be invaluable to our company.”
For the last four years, Gross has been a VP at Wilshire Court Prods., a division of the Paramount Television Group. While there, he developed and produced more than 65 films for the USA Network as well as TV movies and series for other networks.
Prior to his stint at Wilshire Court, the newly minted Kopelson executive worked in feature film development at 20th Century Fox. While at AFI, he produced “Bronx Cheers,” which was nominated for an Academy Award in the live-action short category.
