Fox Kids Networks, Worldwide, has expanded its international arm and has added new duties for senior vice president Kim Hatamiya as well as create a new management team for the unit.
Hatamiya, who is based in Los Angeles, currently oversees Fox Kids’ expansion efforts and operations in Latin America. She will now also oversee building the unit in Asia and the Pacific Rim as well as Africa and the former Soviet Union. Hatamiya has been with Fox for several years, having previously headed Fox’s Canal Fox, a Latin American channel. Before that, she was at HBO.
Joining Fox Kids from Saban Entertainment is Ynon Kriez, formerly VP of business development at Saban. Earlier this year, Saban and Fox inked a global alliance to produce and distribute kidvid fare. Kriez will serve as senior VP of Europe and will be based in London.
Also, Rod Riegel, who has been at Fox in various public relations posts at Fox Corporate and Fox Kids, has been named director of marketing for Fox Kids Intl. Division.
