NBC Inks Moyers To 2-year Deal

Award-winning journalist and Public Broadcasting Service mainstay Bill Moyers has signed on to do regular commentary on the “NBC Nightly News With Tom Brokaw.”

As part of a two-year deal, the 60-year-old Moyers, who will contribute two to three commentaries a week on the Peacock web’s flagship newscast beginning mid-February, will continue to produce documentaries for the pubcaster through his independent production company, Public Affairs Television.

NBC’s newscast season-to-date is in third place in the evening news race behind ABC and CBS.
