Spartan Radio-casting president Nick Evans and Providence Journal Television veepee John Hayes have been elected to at-large seats on the National Assn. of Broadcasters TV board of directors.
Reelected to the four other at-large TV board seats, effective in June, were Meredith Broadcast Corp. prexy Philip Jones, Cox Broadcasting president Nicholas Trigony, QNI Broadcast Group prez Thomas Oakley and WBKO-TV Bowling Green, Ky., G.M. Clyde Payne.
Defeated in their bids for NAB TV board seats were Clear Channel Television head Dan Sullivan, Bonneville Intl. president Rodney Brady, WNPL-TV Naples, Fla., prexy William Darling Sr., WABU-TV Boston CEO Robert Gordon, Board Street Television prez Fred Walker, WDSI-TV Chattanooga G.M. Bruce Lumpkin and KMSG-TV Fresno business manager Lisa Nilmeier.
