GEORGE ZACHARY

George Zachary, a prominent entertainment attorney and partner in the Beverly Hills-based entertainment law firm of Rosenfeld, Meyer & Susman, died July 13 of kidney failure at Midway Hospital in Los Angeles. He was 63.

Zachary, who retired five years ago, spent 37 years with the firm and during that time represented many well-known Hollywood personalities including Jack Benny, Marlon Brando, Ernie Kovacs, Edie Adams, Bobbie Gentry, Ed Ames and Irving Fein.

He is survived by a brother, sister, three nieces and a nephew.

Memorial services were held July 16. Burial was in Miami.
