Actor/director Peter Ustinov will, for the second year running, host the 1995 Intl. Emmy Awards gala, to be held in New York Nov. 20.

Emmy-winning actor Laurence Fishburne is the first of six celebrity presenters to be named. The awards honor international TV programming in a variety of categories ranging from drama to music and arts.

The awards are presented by the Intl. Council of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and, this year, will be seen overseas via NBC SuperChannel and NBC Asia.

Don Hewitt, exec producer of CBS News’ “60 Minutes,” will receive the Founder’s Emmy, recognizing a body of work that crosses geographic and cultural boundaries; and John Birt, director general of the BBC, will be honored with the council’s Directorate Emmy.
