Wind Dancer Prods, is best known for TV series like “Home Improvement,” but its new deal with Disney also includes its new division, Wind Dancer Theatre Prods., which recently launched its first Off Broadway play, “Camping With Henry & Tom.”
The play has been attracting a Hollywood crowd lately, with reps from numerous studios checking it out for film potential.
The only downside is the rep it’s building for former “White Shadow” star Ken Howard, who’s in danger of being stereotyped as a philandering U.S. president. In the recent NBC mini “Tom Clancy’s Op Center,” Howard played a president whose problem led to a major security breach. He plays a similar role in the play, as Warren Harding, known for being a president “with an itch behind his zipper.”
