When Mark Gordon brought “Speed” to Paramount and the studio put it in turnaround, he produced the hit film at Fox and entered into a first-look deal. Now, sources say Gordon is in negotiations to move his deal to Paramount. At Fox, Gordon followed up “Speed” with “Broken Arrow,” which stars John Travolta and Christian Slater and is directed by John Woo and co-produced by his company. There’s also a “Speed” sequel in the works, reuniting director Jan De Bont with stars Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock. Despite this, Gordon could be back at Paramount as soon as his Fox deal expires, as rumor has Gordon considering teaming up with a financing partner to bring money to the table along with producing expertise.
