What to do if rehearsing for your Broadway debut while performing a play in London? Answer: Get to know the Club Class lounge at British Airways, which is where Jude Law will be spending much of his time in the next few weeks.
The talented 22-year-old actor was given Equity permission to repeat his London performance in “Les Parents Terribles” in the forthcoming Broadway run, which starts previews April 3. The only hitch: seven performances to go in repertory in Euripides’ “Ion” at the Royal Shakespeare Company in a theater, the Pit, that does not employ understudies. But Law admits it’s the kind of dilemma most actors dream of: “I’m not complaining.”
