The review of Chuck Workman’s documentary (Variety, June 5-11,1995), currently airing on HBO, was based on an earlier print that does not completely reflect the version shown on HBO. Since that print was reviewed in April, the title of the film was changed to “The First 100 Years: A Celebration of American Movies.” Some credits in the review were also inaccurate: The film was produced, written and directed solely by Workman; despite what was indicated, the piece was fully financed by HBO.
Mary Duffy is exec producer of Paramount’s “Montel Williams.” She was incorrectly attached to another talkshow (Variety June 5-11).
The Broadway long runs chart (Variety, June 5-11) should have included the revival of “Guys and Dolls,” which closed Jan. 8 after 1,143 performances.
Jocelyn West plays Gabrielle and Angeline Ball plays the maid in “Two Nudes Bathing.” The review (Variety, May 29- June 4,1995) was incorrect.
