Harry Francis

Harry Francis, a theater manager for the Mann Theatres circuit for more than 60 years, died in Los Angeles March 2 of a heart attack.

He was 82.

Francis began his career with Fox West Coast in his hometown of Long Beach in 1932.

After managing numerous Los Angeles-area Fox houses for 38 years, he was transferred to Westwood Village in 1970, where he worked until taking a leave of absence from the Bruin Theatre a year ago.

He is survived by his wife, two sons and many grandchildren.
