Turner post to Kopelson?

Would Arnold Kopelson become a fugitive from Warner Bros. to head Turner Pictures?

Kopelson, who produced WB’s biggest 1993 hit, “The Fugitive,” and was named NATO’s producer of the year at ShoWest, has been offered the post, sources said. The plum job was first offered to Dawn Steel, but talks dissolved.

Kopelson is under contract to WB, where he’s prepping several high-profile projects, including virus pic “Outbreak.”

Kopelson declined comment, as did Turner.
