Hackman to appear at Oscars

Gene Hackman, who picked up last year’s best supporting actor Oscar for “Unforgiven,” will make his sixth appearance as a presenter at the 66th Academy Awards, March 21 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Hackman, who won a best actor Oscar in 1971 for “The French Connection,” will join the rest of last year’s Oscar-winning actors at the show.
