Marsha Greenfogel Blum

Marsha Greenfogel Blum, 46, founder of Gala Enterprises, which publishes Extra Extra magazine, a trade journal for the television and cable industries, died Aug. 3 in New York after a battle with lupus.

Blum took active roles in Women in Broadcasting, Women in Cable and the Intl.

Television and Radio Society.

Blum began her career at Blair Television.

Memorial services will be held in Los Angeles at the chapel in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, plaza level, at 2:30 p.m. today. Services also will take place in New York at noon Sunday at the Riverside West Chapel, Amsterdam Avenue at 76 th Street.

Stefan Fitterman

Stefan Fitterman, 38, legit director, died Sunday of AIDS.

Born in St. Louis, Fitterman was a graduate of Adelphi U. and a two-time Fulbright-Hays scholar, serving as intern and director of theaters in Poland and Yugoslavia. He was the founding director of the St. Louis Actors’ Ensemble before becoming associate director of the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center in Waterford, Conn.

In 1990, Fitterman joined Actors’ Equity Assn. as assistant to the special projects coordinator. In 1992, he became special assistant to Equity president Ron Silver.

His companion was Sid Pinkerton. Also survived by two brothers.
