J. David Kuhn

J. David Kuhn, 50, public television producer and acting director of WGBH-TV Boston’s Descriptive Video Service, died July 25 in Schenley Park, Penn., in an auto racing accident.

A graduate of the U. of Cincinnati, he spent two years in Kenya with the Peace Corps before entering the Columbia School of Journalism, where he received his master’s in 1968.

He began work at WGBH-TV as executive editor of “The Advocates.” He later produced segments of “World,””Frontline,””Nova” and “The Constitution: The Delicate Balance.”

Survived by his wife, Julie; two daughters, his mother and brother.
