Actor Irv Schwartz died Wednesday of brain cancer in Santa Monica. He was 75.
He is survived by his wife Lucille; his son Robert A. Schwartz, veepee in charge of talent at agency Paul Kohner Inc.; his daughter, costume designer Jane Janiger, and two grandsons.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Mount Sinai, 5950 Forest Lawn Drive. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society or Last Chance For Animals, Tarzana.
Dagmar Camilla Reem, a radio programmer in the early ’30s, died of pneumonia Dec. 30 at Solheim Retirement Home in Eagle Rock. She was 92.
Reem worked for radio station KFPV in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, as a programmer in the early ’30s and later served as an educator in California and Brazil. She also founded the Laurel Hall private school for elementary and secondary education in North Hollywood.
She is survived by a son, Lee Reem, president of Lee Reem Entertainment; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 9.
