The leather-and-wood-paneled third floor conference room at International Creative Management was transformed from Deal Central into a caroling wonderland Tuesday as 114 inner-city kids were treated to a Christmas party by all ICM agents.
On hand was ICM client Samuel L. Jackson, who entertained the room as Santa Claus, and client Scott Glenn.
More than a hundred agents traded deal memos and voicemails for Barney dolls as they huddled under five Christmas trees to unwrap the gifts with the tykes.
ICM recently adopted the Jordan Downs Head Start Center in South Central Los Angeles as one of the first continuing efforts to become more active in local community affairs, an agency rep said.
“I’m concerned about where we all live, and that’s where we need to make an impact,” explained ICM’s recently appointed special projects VP Ellen Gilbert. “I’m convinced that if you focus your attention Monday, then Tuesday you will have made a difference.”
