Vista Organization Ltd. has become a wholly owned unit of Carolco Pictures Inc. The company said Friday it has filed for deregistration of its common stock. As reported, Vista Organization merged with Vista Acquisition, a unit of Carolco.

An international affiliate of Groupe Videotron Ltee, Quebec’s largest cable company, has agreed with wireless cable operator Omnivision to install Videoway multimedia units in Dayton, Ohio, a potential market of more than 500,000 television households. Videotron said its Videoway Communications Inc. unit will supply a turnkey system incorporating Videoway terminals and associated programming services.

Westinghouse Electric Corp. will redeem the remaining $ 41 million of its outstanding 9% convertible subordinated debentures due Aug. 15, 2009. The redemption date for the issue is Nov. 30.
