Bolstered by talent like Will Patton from “No Way Out” and Chris Potter from “Kung Fu: The Legend Continues,” Kate Edwards and Jim Curtan have formed Edwards/Curtan Management, the company announced Thursday.

Edwards comes from LeMond/Zetter, where she guided thesps like Patrick Swayze , Mark Harmon and Barry Bostwick.

She also did a brief stint with John Travolta Prods., where she worked on “Birdy,””Bugatti” and “Two of a Kind.”

Aside from spots at Phyllis Carlyle Management and its production arm with John Malkovich, Curtan also worked at LeMond/Zetter, where he was involved with the careers of Geena Davis, Willem Dafoe and Andy Garcia. As development VP there, he also helped develop “Interview With the Vampire.” While at Carlyle/Malkovich, Curtan also supervised the development of the screenplay for the Oscar-nominated “The Accidental Tourist.”

“After LeMond/Zetter, we met with other people but decided to go it alone,” explained Edwards, who has set up the company’s headquarters in West Los Angeles. “We didn’t rush, and the response from agents and clients has been great.”

The new management outfit’s client list also includes Stewart McLennan from CBS’ “Christy” and Diana Canova from the ABC series “Home Free.”
