It’s simple: CNBC wants Ross

Presidential candidate Ross Perot’s tough financial talk may not have been a hit with America’s voters, but it seems CNBC is interested in his views.

When Perot backed out early in the race, the cable network approached him with a job offer. A CNBC spokesman confirmed yesterday that it had sought him for an on-air job and that it is still interested.

According to the CNBC spokesman, when Perot was first approached by the cabler, his response was “we’ll talk.”
