Sean Rowley

Sean Rowley, 23, keyboardist/vocalist for Zoo/SRC recording group Cause and Effect, died Nov. 8 in Minneapolis of cardiac arrest induced by an asthma attack.

Rowley was stricken during the group’s sound check prior to a show at the Glam Slam nightclub in Minneapolis. Cause and Effect had been touring to promote its album, “Another Minute,” and was appearing at the club with Tommy Boy recording artists Information Society.

The group has canceled the remainder of its tour and will return to its home town of Sacramento. Rowley was buried Nov. 14 in Minneapolis in keeping with his religious beliefs.

He is survived by his father and mother and a brother.
