Donald Churchill

Donald Churchill, 60, actor and playwright whose output usually concerned the comic side of matrimony, died Oct. 29 in Fuengirola, Spain, apparently of a heart attack.

Churchill was in Spain filming a U.K. teleseries.

His legit plays include “Mixed Feelings,” “The Decorator,” “Fringe Benefits,” “The Performing Husband” and “Moments of Weakness.” Among his TV plays and series are “The Hothouse,” “A Bit of a Lift,” “Moody and Jones,” “Feeling His Way,” “The Love Story” and “Never a Cross Word.”

As an actor, Churchill sometimes performed in his own works. Movie appearances include “The Victim” and “The Wild Affair.”

Survived by his wife, actress Pauline Yates, and two daughters.
