The loves and escapades of the fabulous Don Juan are particularly adapted to the screen abilities of Errol Flynn and he gives them a flair that pays off strongly.

Plot depicts Don Juan adventuring in England. Opening has him escaping an angry husband, only to become immediately involved again with another femme. This time his wooing ruins a state-arranged wedding and he’s shipped off to Spain to face his angry monarch. The queen assigns him to post of instructor in the royal fencing academy, he discovers a plot against her majesty, instigated by a conniving prime minister. Viveca Lindfors co-stars as the queen and she brings a compelling beauty to the role.

Top action is reached in the deadly duel between Flynn and Robert Douglas, the crooked prime minister, climaxing with a long leap down a huge flight of castle stairs.
