The creative minds behind some of the biggest dramas on television convened for Variety‘s annual Night in the Writers’ Room to discuss how they came to their shows, and how their networks have or have not pushed back when it comes to pushing boundaries.
The panel was comprised of David E. Kelley from HBO’s “Big Little Lies,” Ava DuVernay from OWN’s “Queen Sugar,” Jonathan Nolan from HBO’s “Westworld,” Graham Yost from Amazon’s “Sneaky Pete,” Jack Orman from NBC’s “Shades of Blue,” and Kyle Bradstreet from USA’s “Mr. Robot.”
