Ellen Page on Zombie Movie 'The Cured': 'It Blew Me Away'

Ellen Page spoke about why she signed on to the new zombie movie “The Cured,” while stopping by the Variety Studio Presented by AT&T at the Toronto Film Festival.

“I love the zombie genre,” Page said. “It just blew me away.”

Director David Freyne also explained how the movie fits into the current political climate.

“People were suffering and bailing out banks and being held responsible for things beyond their control,” he said of the U.K. and Ireland. “That was the genesis for the idea.”
