Why the Paramount Network Rebrand Is Focusing on 'Premium' Content

Kevin Kay, President of Paramount Network, recognizes a tremendous marketing challenge in next year’s rebrand from the channel’s current Spike TV identity. But he believes that Paramount Network will be distinguished with its premium programming starring big names and great characters.

“I think the audience now is about premium entertainment,” Kay said. “The audience has an expectation that there are going to be big stars, great storytelling, great characters, and I think that’s what we have to focus on.”
