How Stephen King's 'Mr. Mercedes' Uncovers the 'Monsters Inside of Us'

The stars — Brendan Gleeson, Harry Treadaway, and Kelly Lynch — and creators — Jack Bender and Stephen King — behind Audience Network’s newest series, “Mr. Mercedes,” discuss bringing King’s writing to life on the small screen in a bizarre world with complex characters.

Bender, who also directed the show, explained what drew him to this particular King novel.

“What really appealed to me was that Stephen King was writing about the monsters inside of us as opposed to the monsters outside of us,” he said.
