7 Secrets: Kevin Hart on His Height, Oscar-Hosting Ambitions and Favorite Comedians

As part of his Variety cover story, Kevin Hart, who’s voice-starring in “Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie” and releases his book “I Can’t Make This Up” on June 6, shared seven things that you might not know about him.

On if he would host the Oscars: “Yes. When the time is right, I’ll be ready. It’s not something that has to happen today or tomorrow. I’m not going anywhere, neither are the Oscars. So I know there will be an unlimited amount of times where I will have the chance, but I want to choose the perfect time.”

On his three favorite comedians: “Eddie Murphy, Dave Chappelle, Richard Pryor. It’s tough. I know you said only three, but I’m going to throw Chris Rock in there too. Those are the individuals that have inspired me in so many different ways.”
