Irrfan Khan and Anup Singh Discuss Why They Work Well Together

Actor Irrfan Khan and director Anup Singh sat down at the at the Variety Studio at the Dubai International Film Festival to discuss their working relationship and their latest Hindi language drama “The Song of Scorpions.”

“Working with Irrfan is working with someone who doesn’t really have any masks when he comes to work,” Singh said. “We communicate without gossiping about anything at all. We can only talk about our work…sometimes a glance is enough to lead us in a certain direction.”

“What Anup does is, his way of storytelling is very peculiar,” Khan said. “It leaves spaces for you to form your own story. That’s a new experience for me…It gives me a lot of scope to experiment.”
