Emma Stone and Steve Carell on Whether Bobby Riggs Compares to Trump

Emma Stone and Steve Carell discussed playing tennis legends Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs, respectively, in the upcoming biopic “Battle of the Sexes.”

The stars and directors talked at the Toronto Film Festival about the comparisons drawn between Riggs and President Donald Trump.

“I wish Trump was as benevolent as Bobby,” director Jonathan Dayton said.

Director Valerie Faris, and stars Sarah Silverman and Andrea Riseborough also stopped by the Variety Studio Presented by AT&T.
