Relocated Tiffcom expects buyers to embrace the road farther traveled
While Japanese cultural exports have been popularized overseas in recent years, such content has not been as lucrative as it could be, and the government is moving to do something about it.
The Japan Contents Festival (Cofesta), an umbrella org for Japanese contents events, unveiled a slimmer roster for its fourth edition, skedded to start on Sept. 16.
Japan is planning to more than double the export of entertainment products to $27 billion by 2020.
CoFesta, an umbrella org for 15 media-related events and markets, skedded from September 30 to October 28, has announced changes for its second edition.
