Pedro Almodovar is planning to direct a sci-fi movie, inspired by his love of 1950s pics like "Invasion of the Body Snatchers."
Twenty-seven years after he was introduced to Americans via MoMA's New Directors/New Films series, Pedro Almodovar returned to the museum Nov. 15 as the star of its film department fundraiser.
Artistic director Almodovar offers 'Law of Desire,' a film he calls 'fundamental to my career.'
Pedro Almodovar's next film will be "Los abrazos rotos," which the helmer describes as a "four-way tale of amour fou, shot in the style of '50s American film noir at its most hard-boiled."
