New blood and lots of laughs were among the notable trends emerging from the 39 new comedy and drama series ordered by the broadcast nets for the 2012-13 season.
CBS is moving "Two and a Half Men" to Thursday in the fall, an unexpected shift in a schedule that will be introduced to advertisers at the network's upfront Wednesday along with four new series.
Banking on its bench strength, CBS is again going light on new series, giving greenlights Sunday to two comedies and four dramas for the 2012-13 season.
