Distributors with designs on deals offer buckets of sitcoms to suit the suits
Warner Bros. is restructuring its overseas TV distribution management ranks in Europe in the wake of some executive transfers -- and the rise of digital opportunities on the Continent.
Warner Bros. Intl. Television prexy Jeffrey Schlesinger announced a raft of exec promotions last week.
Warner Bros. has promoted Joshua Berger to senior VP, international sales and business development and managing director for Europe, the first such exec to hold the title.
As expected, Jeffrey Schlesinger will become president of Warner Bros. Intl. TV Distribution, replacing Michael Jay Solomon, who resigned last week (Daily Variety, Feb. 7) to set up his own company.
