The wardrobe department is bustling with 30 costumers. And it should be — the live show will feature over 600 costumes.
The live show will feature 392 quick changes on the principal cast alone.
60% of the “Grease Live” costumes are vintage and
40% custom made.
Those bleachers will be filled by real-life audience members, who will be seen on TV during the live broadcast.
The drive-in set shares the same stage as Frenchy’s bedroom, which isn’t pictured, but is just around the corner.
