Television fans, rejoice: Fall TV is officially in full swing.
The broadcast networks are revving up with new TV shows from big names. One of the most anticipated is “Young Sheldon,” and it’s no wonder why — “The Big Bang Theory,” which “Young Sheldon” spun off from, remains the biggest comedy on broadcast.
But it faces serious competition from “Star Trek: Discovery,” which stars “The Walking Dead” alum Sonequa Martin-Green and debuted on CBS before heading to the network’s streaming platform, CBS All Access. Meanwhile, “The Orville” also launched to impressive ratings on Fox, thanks in large part to its star Seth MacFarlane.
“The Good Doctor” also drummed up buzz at ABC, with “Bates Motel” star Freddie Highmore anchoring the medical drama from “House” creator David Shore. NBC has military drama “The Brave,” starring Mike Vogel and Anne Heche, while CBS also boasts comedy series “Me, Myself and I” with “Saturday Night Live” alum Bobby Moynihan, Jack Dylan Grazer, and John Larroquette.
While there’s still plenty left to debut this season, including the highly anticipated “Will & Grace” reboot on NBC, have you seen any of the broadcast shows that have premiered so far this fall? Which is your favorite? Weigh in below!
