Transmedia Project ‘Back to Earth’ Launching at AFM (EXCLUSIVE)

Transmedia project “Back to Earth” will be previewed at the American Film Market with demonstrations of the multi-platform narrative in which a new technology could destroy the world or save it, Variety has learned exclusively.

Creator Clay Space and producers Shad Adair and Behnam Karbassi will be at AFM with a web series, graphic novels, an animated series and an interactive experience with StarCredits tokens, which allow players to alter the interactive experience, receive exclusive content and earn discounts on merchandise.

The story centers on the fictional mega-corporation StarFate with users discovering the true origins of the apocalypse and uncovering secret plans for the future of the human race.

The story world of “Back to Earth” was created by No Mimes Media while M2 handled the visualization of the graphic novel and animated series. Frederico Heller directs the web series.

Space has been a member of the bitcoin community since 2014 and is the founder of Blockspace Media, a company utilizing blockchain applications  to power multi-platform story worlds. Adair is a founder of 3SixMedia Group and is currently producing the episodic series “Thank You, 5” and the short films “White Room” and “Good Guys with Guns.”

Karbassi is the CEO/co-founder of No Mimes Media.
